Review: LUSH Product

Few days ago I popped in to a LUSH store when I was doing my Christmas shopping and I was pleasantly surprised. They have Christmas present boxes that you can just pick up without fuss of getting the gift wrapped. These gifts have various products inside them and they are different sizes and prices. The prices start from £5. I thought that its such a great idea. Especially when you are tired from hours of endless searching for gifts knowing that the work is not over yet , because when you get home you have to wrap the bloody things. LOL
Therefore, I decided to buy two gifts which are displayed bellow for two special people.

I also purchased two Flosty Gritter. One for my friend and one for me. They looked so pink and sparkly that I could not resist and try one the same day in my jacuzzi bath.

This is what it says on the http://www.lush.co.uk about this bubble bar:

Clary Sage Oil

Clary sage is a biennial herb, which grows to a height of about two feet. It is warming and relaxing.

Benzoin

Benzoin is best known for its sweet, balsamic, vanilla and ice cream-like essence. It is used as a fixative in the perfume, which creates a lasting scent on the skin.

I placed the gorgeous bubble bar in the tub.

It did not explode straight away, so I gave it a shake and switched the jacuzzi bubbles on.

That is more like it! It created so much foam that it nearly flooded the bathroom. LOL!

My verdict:
I love the presentation of this fantastic item.
It made bath experience more fun.
It smells very nice.
My skin felt ever so soft after the bath.
If you don't have jacuzzi at home you may not get as much bubbles.
Overall I feel that this is an excellent girlie gift.

Thank you for reading my blog. Comment bellow if you have experience any of the LUSH products.

It's Christmas!

I wish to everyone to have a Marry Christmas and for all your dreams to come true!
This is my Christmas tree with the presents underneath it which I put together only last night. I  think it's important to keep the Christmas spirit up no matter what is going on in your life, because life is short and we have to enjoy every second of it. ;)
On Christmas day I will visit my mum and my brother. We will share the presents and have a meal there. On boxing day we may visit my boyfriends parents. I have not decided what I am going to wear, but I think it will be stylish and casual wear and maybe I will do my make up with a bit of sparkle.

The second picture of the back garden. See, it does not only rains in England.
I love snow!

These are the presents for me and my boyfriend. I think I can guess what some of them are. He He!
I can't wait to open them!

Thank you for reading my blog! I wish you all the best for Christmas! What does your Christmas decorations look like and how will you be celebrating it?

WHICH COLOUR IS NEXT?

Which hair colour should I go next?

This is the colour I am at the moment. The colour is black.

Next, picture was taken a year ago. I had my hair done at the hairdressers, because I was changing from being blonde. This colour is mahogany.

On the last picture I am blonde as you can see. I was blonde for about 6 years. I did not have my hair as long as I do now, since by bleaching my hair so many times it made it very dry. However, I loved being blonde, but it "kills" my hair even if I used the most expensive hair treatments.

Thank you for taking your time to read my blog. Let me know which colour you think I should change to now.  Maybe, Red?

Review on £5 Misguided nail varnish

I bought the COSMO magazine in October  with a free Misguided nail varnish worth £5, so unfortunately that issue is no longer obtainable from the stores. However, the product is still available on www.missguided.co.uk.

I have never heard of this brand before, but I am always up for any bargain freebie with a magazine. As I found out later Misguided is an online clothing shop. I was so existed to try the new nail varnish, because lucky enough the varnish colour I got was the one that I wanted to buy for a while. The colour is called “MissBehave” it has a sort of very girly, soft pink tone.

However, after trying the nail polish I was disappointed. You needed a good three layers of coating to avoid the see through effect. When you first apply the polish, because it’s not well pigmented it goes sticky and this is why you need a few coats of this polish. Another downside to this product is that it takes ages to dry. I had to sit and hold my hands over the radiator for at least 15 minutes. This is a BIG Minus to the nail polish, since in our day and age time is precious. The last negative comment about this item is that it stinks for ages even when the polish is dry. My favourite nail vanish brand is Models Own and I have not experienced the same problems with them as I did with Misguided. L

On the plus side after free coats the colour looks stunning. J

Thank you for reading my blog!!! I would like to hear your thoughts on this product.

Pink Lipsticks Review!!!

MAC “Snob” from the satin collection price is £12. I love this colour. It’s a bright pale pink with a hint of lavender that makes your lips stand out. I tested all the pink shades lipsticks at the MAC store and none of them suited me. The “Angel” shade was too pale for my complexion and “Viva Glam” Lady Gaga did not look right on me. The “Snob” glides on very easy, but it’s not good if you have dry lips. I tend to get dry lips, so I try to moisturise them with Vaseline and drink plenty of water.
MAC “Snob”

The other four pink lipsticks bellow are budget buys. I spent between £2 and £4 on each.

Collection 2000- in 2 Perfect Pink from Volume Sensation

Rimmel -  in 206 Nude Pink from Lasting Finish Lipstick
Collection 2000 – in 1 Baby Crystal from Crystal Gloss

Collection 2000 – in 6 Bubblegum from Lasting Colour

Collection 2000- in 2 Perfect Pink from Volume Sensation – creamy texture similar to Rimmel -  in 206 Nude Pink. Nice and shimmery pink, good for day and night make up.

Rimmel -  in 206 Nude Pink from Lasting Finish Lipstick – glides on very smoothly, good for dry lips , but I don’t find it long lasting. Very peachy, subtle shimmery colour.

Collection 2000 – in 1 Baby Crystal from Crystal Gloss - beautiful eye catching lipstick. Not good for dry lips.  When applied feels like a nice massage for your lips, because of the large glitter particles in this lipstick.

Collection 2000 – in 6 Bubblegum from Lasting Colour - very creamy texture so easy to apply. Similar colour to Snob by MAC , but slightly brighter and not as drying.

Thanks for reading my blog! Please leave comments bellow if you tried this lipsticks and what you thought about them. :)
