Tips for Valentine's Day !!!

Have you thought about the Valentine’s Day yet?  If not you should, because its 14 days left.  Therefore, due to the panic of not being prepared on time I did a little research and threw few ideas that may help me or anyone to be organised for this Valentine’s Day.  So far, I only bought a gift for my boyfriend.  It is a men’s aftershave + free man’s umbrella from Debenhams.

So below is few essential items that are vital to create the romantic atmosphere.
Valentines essentials:

·                               To look extra sexy on the day. Wear your sexiest and reviling outfit. If you need to buy some you can visit Victoria Secret online site, Ann Summers or if on budget Primark store.

·                 Candles - if you are on the budget you can purchase tea light candles, if you do use them make sure you put each of the candle into a candle holder to prevent a fire.
You can also use scented candles or essential oils.  The essentials oil you can purchase from Boots or Holland and Barrett.
Cinnamon and Vanilla – are most popular smells amongst women and men;  Lavender – relaxing;  YlangYlang-soothes and lifts the mood; Oranges-since Egyptians time this sent was used to arouse and uplift the mood; Jasmine and many more.   I found a website that has aromatherapy recopies  for a romantic massage or to create the mood for love (

·         Flowers – red/pink/white roses

·         Theme – Red, Black, Pink, White,  Paper Hearts, Candy hearts, Rose petals, Red /Pink/White balloons.

  • ·    Food – treat him to his favourite dish. If not sure spaghetti is very easy to make and can be quite a romantic meal with a delicious desert afterwards.  Chocolate, asparaguses, basil, almonds, oysters are classed as few of the aphrodisiacs for romantic meal.

·         Drinks- depend on what you both like to drink. My boyfriend is not drinking at the moment so it will probably be juiceJ

·                Present  - cuddly toy , men’s aftershave, sexy underwear.  If you are on the budget than it’s worth pop in to your local Pound shop. I went to one in Preston and they had a section for valentine’s day decorations and gifts. Moreover, you can also be creative and make something like a poem or drawing or a song for him. This will be even more special to your loved one, because it will come from your heart.

·         Romantic videos – You’ve got mail,  When Harry met Sally, the Notebook(although this movie makes me cry at the end which may not be a good idea to do on the romantic night), Love actually,  Chocolate, Pride and Prejudice,  Valentine’s Day,

·                    Music- you can collect all your favourite romantic songs on one album and play it on the night.  I personally like "Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye; "I'd Die for You" by Bon Jovi , "I Want to Know What Love Is" by Foreigner. When I am in the romantic mood I also like to listen to artists such as Mariah Carey and Bryan Adams.

I have also thought of few romantic ideas you can do on this day.

Plan of action.

1.     Surprise him with sexy underwear. Set the bedroom with lots of candles, rose petals on the bed, romantic music, and exotic smells. Maybe do a sexy dance for him to relax the mood.

2.    Prepare delicious meal and eat it at the candle lit table.

3.    Rent out sexy or romantic movies and watch it together cuddled up.

4.    Have a bath together if you bath will allow you to do that. If not, shower can be sexy too.

5.    Go out for something to eat at a cosy romantic restaurant.

I also found very interesting website . This site provides great romantic ideas.

Exerimenting with Models Own nail polish!

Hello my dear followers! Sorry, for a long delay in my posting. My two weeks where quite hectic.
Just wanted to share with you what I have created with Models Own nail polish that I got for Christmas.  If I did not say before I will state that I love Model Own mail polish. They do great colours so they don’t require a lot of coating on your nail. Moreover, they DRY QUICK and LAST A LONG TIME without chipping (up to 6 days).

I have also used Sally Hansen Nail hardener about which I cannot complain as well. I used it before applying Models own and after as a top coat.
I have used Models Own “25 Carat Gold” and “Silver Fox”.

I actually took the picture of my nails after 5 days of wearing the polish and it still looks the same as on the first day.

Thank you for reading my blog! Looking forward to your comments!

HELP: What to buy next?

I have been to Toni and Guy hairdressers recently and I've been told that the reason why my hair goes static is because its dry. They have used on me Kerastase conditioner and a treatment for a dry hair and my hair seemed to look great that day. I am thinking of buying some, but it is quite expensive.

I wanted to know if you have  tried this product or if you know any other hair products that can help.

I am also in need of new bronzer for my face. I have Too Faced Candy Bar Eye Shadow & Shimmer Bar, but there is only a bit left in the pot and they don't do this product any more :( The great thing about it is that it had four colours which could be used as eye shadow.

Would you have any recommendations?

Outfit for the Wedding!

My boyfriend and I were invited to our friends wedding last weekend. I was very excited! Therefore , I booked myself at the Toni and Guy hairdressers and had my nails painted with nail art.
The venue of the wedding was at Bartle Hall Country Hotel which situated on outskirts of Preston in the countryside.

French tips with black nail art and crystal on each nail.

So special! Everyone looked smart and glamorous. The bride and groom looked so lovely together!

My boyfriend and I inside the venue.

Wedding cupcakes!!! Yum!

and of course Michael Jackson himself! Poor lad he was the entertainer of the evening and everyone was laughing at him, because his performance was rubbish. He he. I don't think he noticed!

Thank you for reading my blog. Please leave your comments bellow. I enjoy reading them!

Outfit of the day in London.

Hello, Everybody!
I hope you enjoying new year.
I have recently visited London with my boyfriend and we stayed in a very grand hotel, Grange St Paul's. I wanted to make this short post to share with you all what I decided to wear that evening when we went out for a meal.

In the picture below I wore shiny black leggings from Miss Selfridge; black dress from some designer shop in Lancaster; black jacket from Top Shop, gold bangle from Primark;  and the nude, high heel shoes are from Debenhams.

Below is the room we stayed in. Isn't it nice!

This is a view from the lift at the hotel.

Have a nice day! You are welcome to share comments here.

My Christmas make up and New Year outfit

Hello, my dear readers!

I hope you all had wonderful Christmas and New Year holiday! I am sorry for delaying with my next post.  It’s been hectic for past few days.

Anyway, I would like to show you my makeup I wore on Christmas Eve and my New Year look!

On Christmas Eve my boyfriend and I went out in Preston town with his friends to few bars. I did not make a fuss with my outfit that evening, so I just put on my black velvet leggings and long black dress/top. However,  I did experiment with my makeup.  I was aiming to achieve Snow Queen Look. I don’t normally wear blue eye shadows because i think that more warm colours like browns and pinks suit me better.

For New Year we went to a house party and I tried a bit harder with my outfit. I have straightened my hair with my new GHD Midnight collection straightners that I got for Christmas. On the nails I used Models Own nail polish “25 Carat Gold” which was also a present for Christmas.
